Sam Dutcher is a Co-Owner and Admissions Director of Emerge Treatment, a women-only holistic mental health center in Draper, Utah. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Utah and is currently completing her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University— bringing both academic grounding and hands-on experience to her work supporting women through the mental health system.
 

Sam entered the mental health field in 2020, beginning her career in admissions at an OCD specialty center where she discovered firsthand how overwhelming it can be to navigate levels of care, treatment options, and insurance — especially when you're already struggling. That experience shaped her deep commitment to making mental health care feel more accessible and less confusing for the women who need it most.
 

As Admissions Director at Emerge Treatment, Sam is often the first voice a woman hears when she reaches out for help. She writes for the Emerge blog to extend that same mission — translating complex mental health topics into honest, accessible content that helps women better understand themselves and their options.
